Born and raised in Argentina, Florencia has lived in New Zealand, Ireland, and has been in New York since 2013. She studied at Estudio Julio Bocca, Stella Adler Studio, Upright Citizens Brigade, NYFA, and The Barrow Group, and holds a B.A. in Communications from Universidad Austral.
Florencia is the Founding Showrunner and Executive Producer of LinkedIn’s original video and Audio Studios, creating series that have harnessed 20+ million views per year, 10+ million podcast downloads, and millions of dollars in revenue. Florencia’s productions have featured Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Richard Branson, Tyler Perry, Hillary Clinton, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani, Judd Apatow, RuPaul, Ryan Reynolds, Brene Brown, Jeffrey Seller, and more.
My interest lies in creating heartfelt musicals that center my voice as author; blending original music, humor, and personal narrative with pop-folk and South American sounds in intimate, minimalist performances. With new work in development, I'm continuing to go deeper: into storytelling that finds our common humanity, and music that resonates, acoustic, warm, and made to bring people together in the same room.
Florencia’s plays and music have been produced Off-broadway at Soho Playhouse, 54 Below, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Players, HB Studio, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Bowery Electric, Faena Theater Miami, and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
